Session Formats led by Forum Fellows

  • Symposium Session

    Presentation showcasing original research, innovative practice, or notable case studies that attendees can use in their work building Trustworthy AI back home. Symposium sessions span 45 - 60 minutes including questions, and must showcase original work.

  • Topic Town Hall

    Expert-led open discussion where attendees interrogate pressing topics, exchange diverse perspectives, and brainstorm possible courses of action on the topic. Town Halls span 60–90 minutes of facilitated discussion and debate, and no materials or slides are required.

  • Working Session

    Small group collaboration tackling specific challenges in AI alongside leaders in the space. Participants ideate, whiteboard, and contribute to publicly shareable work. Working Sesisons span 2.5–4 hours, and require the leader to produce a shareable artifact after the Forum.

Selection Criteria

The Brasov Forum will select new Fellows based the availability of spaces in the program, achieving a compelling mix of topics and viewpoints, and the submission meeting the requirements below.

  • Brasov Forum is not a 101-leve training event, so presentation topics must present original work, sound evidence and argument, or take on advanced topics with a clear, collaborative angle.

  • Topics must clearly link to at least one Forum “current” or theme (see above) including Technology and Engineering, Business and Adoption, or Legal, Ethics, and Public Policy.

  • Sessions must include actionable takeaways and insights for an audience of executives and leaders in the field, and are not designed for junior or mid-level participants.

  • Fellows must agree to a zero vendor pitch or sales policy. We hope that your fellowship leads to opportunity for you or your organization, but the objective here is to share knowledge.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Fellows receive an event ticket valued at €3000.00.

    • The Brasov Forum will provide lodging to fellows during the Forum.

    • Other travel (including flights) is not covered.

    • Yes, prospective fellows are welcome to submit more than one topic proposal.

    • Co-presenters will be considered on a case by case basis.

    • Multiple selected fellows are welcome to collaborate on presenting topics together.
