Our Mission
The Brasov Forum is special. It brings together brilliant AI thinkers and leaders for a mountain city retreat where they learn together, build relationships, and work together personally solving AI engineering, legal, adoption, and ethical challenges. That’s why we call it a "Forum", not a "Conference".

Brasov Forum is not about speakers who talk at an audience. Rather, Brasov Forum Fellows facilitate discussion, stimulate thoughtful discourse, share their research, and lead collaborative sessions. Fellows form a growing alumni network, with invitations to return in future years.

Brasov Forum hosts, fellows, and their invited guests have evening cocktails and a dinner together at Via Enescu in the center of Brasov’s historic old town, a five-minute walk from our main hotel.

Co-Authorship
Those who join an “Open Working Session” at the Forum will have their name and organization (if desired) listed as a co-author of any papers, articles, diagrams, source code, etc. developed as a result.

Why Brașov?
The Center for Trustworthy AI and the Brasov Forum call Brașov, Romania home. This historic city nestled in the Carpathian Mountains is home to fabulous nature, history, and cuisine—the perfect location for an annual retreat spent with some of the world’s brightest minds in Trustworthy AI. It is also fitting to base these institutions in a country whose recent history during its communist era reminds us of the peril found in the tragic misuse of information, in a world without trust.
Our ribbon-heart emblem braids Romania’s blue, yellow and red into a single flowing line, echoing both the curves of the Carpathians and the neural paths of modern AI – heritage and innovation entwined. Hosted by The Center for Trustworthy AI, the Forum convenes leaders, technologists, public officials, legal experts and researchers to share their latest findings, exchange high-quality ideas, and solve real-world challenges.
By returning to Brașov each Spring, we commit to publishing practical roadmaps, sparking cross-sector alliances and strengthening a tradition in which trustworthy AI is not a slogan but a shared, ever-evolving discipline.
What to Expect in April
All main sessions take place at the Radisson Blu Aurum Hotel, Brașov, Romania, a contemporary, glass-fronted conference hotel in Brașov’s Old Town, just steps from Council Square and the Black Church.
From 7-9 April 2026 you’ll move effortlessly between daylight-filled conference rooms and cobblestone streets alive with the onset of spring and sweeping Carpathian views.
The hotel offers breakout suites (including one in a wine cellar), rooftop lounges, and walkable access to dining and accommodations. Evenings feature curated dinners in a city known for incredible food.
